Below are the most used page types in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Role Centre Page

This is the main page in Business Central, tailored to your specific business role within the organization (e.g., Accountant, Business Manager, etc.).

You can adjust the user’s role in the settings area, and the Role Center page will automatically update to reflect the new role. The Role Center serves as a dashboard, displaying all the essential business information relevant to the selected role.

List Page

This page provides a list of records on one single page (e.g., List of Customers, List of Vendors), where users can filter and find entities to work with.

Card Page

The card page specifically shows details about one single entity and is associated with the list page. We can edit and change the details on a card page.

Document Page

This page focuses on user tasks and provides more details about them. For example, if it is a sales order, we can fill out the customer’s name and the quantity they have requested, along with the expected delivery date.
